  • are enrolled in the 3rd or 4th grades of following undergraduate programs (or similar) at the time of application:  

    • Electrical & Electronics Engineering

    • Computer Engineering

    • Software Engineering

  • hold a CGPA of 2.50/4.00 or higher, 

  • are fluent in spoken and written English,

  • preferably have some experience on Verilog, VHDL, TCL, C, C++

to actively participate in SoC design projects in the semiconductor industry as a Design Intern.

Digital Designer

Full time

Experience Level: Entry

Location: Ankara, Turkey, Hybrid

Summary: HEX Microchip seeks colleagues who will actively participate in SoC and FPGA Digital Design projects in the semiconductor industry as Digital Designers. Candidates are expected to be eager to learn, to have good research skills and to be willing to quickly ramp up their knowledge of digital design practices. In this position, the candidate will work in a variety of roles within digital design scope and may expect the full support of HEX team for a cross-functional exposure.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital design & verification for ASIC and FPGA.

  • Working with analog design teams for mixed-signal simulation/verification.

  • Documentation of design requirements and results.

  • Working in a multicultural environment with overseas customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

    • Team player

    • Excellent work ethics

    • Transistor-level semiconductor device knowledge and understanding

    • Familiar with FPGA / Verilog / VHDL / Vivado / Xcelium for design and verification

    • A GPA of 2.50/4 and above (for candidates with less than 4 years of experience)

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Design experience with mixed signal ICs

    • Experience with ASIC design, verification, or related experiences

    • Experience with ASIC design tools such as Hierarchical Editor, Xcelium and Design Compiler

    • Experience in low-power digital design

    • Experience in machine learning applications

    • Experience in automation flows and languages (Python, Perl, tcl etc.) for improving productivity

    • Experience with various microcontroller architectures

    • Experience in embedded systems

    • Experience with version control tools (SVN, Git etc.)

  • Candidates may expect:

In this position, the candidate will work in a variety of roles within digital design scope and may expect the full support of HEX team for a cross-functional exposure.

  • Embedded software design & verification for various microcontrollers.

  • Working with PCB design and SoC design teams for systems design.

  • Documentation of design requirements and results.

  • Working in a multicultural environment with overseas customers.

    • BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

    • Team player

    • Familiar design and verification with C / C++  

    • A GPA of 2.50/4 and above (for candidates with less than 4 years of experience)

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Design experience with safety-critical / mission-critical software

    • Experience with FPGA design, verification, or related experiences

    • Experience in low-power embedded software design

    • Familiar with Linux environment

    • Experience in machine learning applications

    • Experience in automation flows and languages (Python, Perl, tcl etc.) for test & productivity

    • Experience with various microcontroller architectures

    • Experience with version control tools (SVN, Git etc.)

    • Experience with development lifecycle from specification and design to tests and support
